Ernest Patrick (Pat) Bond 1936 – 2013 Ernest Patrick (Pat) Bond, 76, died February, 21, 2013 at Courtyards of Pasadena. Pat was born November 10, 1936 in Goose Creek, Texas, later re-named Baytown, to Clifford Myrick (Sparky) Bond and Jean Ray Bond. Pat attended Robert E. Lee High School where as a member of the 1955 track team, he helped lead his team to a state championship. Ernest Patrick (Pat) Bond, 76, died February, 21, 2013 at Courtyards of Pasadena. Pat was born November 10, 1936 in Goose Creek, Texas, later re-named Baytown, to Clifford Myrick (Sparky) Bond and Jean Ray Bond.

Pat attended Robert E. Lee High School where as a member of the 1955 track team, he helped lead his team to a state championship. Pat attended the University of Texas and completed his degree in Marketing Administration in 1959. At UT, he joined the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and Longhorn Singers. Later in life he participated in many church choirs. Pat's first business venture was a very successful sandwich cart in the dorm hallways of the University.

Following graduation, Pat returned to Baytown and joined the sales department of the Humble Oil and Refining Company, later Exxon. While attending Army Reserve Training Camp in Petersburg, VA, he met his future wife, Jo Anne Halloway. They were married August 5, 1961, and later divorced. Pat and JoAnne were blessed with a son, Joseph Patrick (Joe) Bond and a daughter, Nancy Sheally (Bond) Venezia.

In 1968, Pat earned his real estate license and joined his father as Director of Residential Sales for the See Bond Realty Company. After his divorce, Pat moved to La Porte, Texas and started Pat's Courier Service, a successful courier business with a long list of law firm clients. When technology erased the need to deliver documents in person, ever the entrepreneur, Pat delivered prescription drugs instead.

A life-long Texan, friends and family were Pat's primary focus. Pat was a gifted writer who wrote and emceed many a roast for those lucky enough to be his friend. He never forgot a birthday, loved to share his positive platitudes, thoughts and memories.

Pat is survived by his son Joe Bond (Cindy), and daughter, Nancy Venezia, and grandchildren, Ethan, Peyton and Kyle Bond and NicoVenezia. half-sisters, Donna Darlene Hood (Maury) and Bonnie Vale Huett, sister-in-law Mignon Bond, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Ray Jacobs, step-father, Jack Jacobs father Clifford Myrick Bond, step-mother Mildred Bond and two brothers, James Ray Bond and Wallace Clifford Bond.

Visitation will be at Earthman Funeral Home Sunday, February, 24th from 3-6pm. A Celebration of Life and graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, February 25, at Sterling White Cemetery.
