Dear Judy,
Our sincerest sympathy goes out to you on the loss of your husband Bubba. Although you will mourn & miss him, rest assured, Bubba loved and looked forward to your around the clock nursing care and the love you gave him daily. It gave him strength. Having you as his wife was a wonderful blessing.
Love you,
Pat & Joe Sargente

Dearest Mom,
I miss the Saturdays and Sundays with Dad. I miss the stories, I miss the funny stories and I miss us joking about your lack of cooking skill. I miss him so much, but most of all I miss the way he looked at you and the way he loved you and I miss him telling me how proud he was of me. His loss will be felt for a very long time, because I loved him so much.

As children and grandchildren it is important to see our parents and grandparent show love and devotion to each other. I was blessed to have seen my grandmother and Bubba love each other, care for each other, laugh together and most importantly show total devotion to one another. Thanks Grandma, you and Bubba are my role models.

Bubba - what a great guy. During the times that I met Bubba he was always a model of good manners and plesantness and had a kind word for all, even while he was suffering at the end. While it seems unfair for anyone to suffer from so many severe medical problems and a such a long illness he was very fortunate in having the loving care of his wife Judy who worked tirelessly to assure his physical and emotional comfort. As a retired nurse Judy knew what Bubba needed and she cared for him in a way that certainly diminished his suffering. Anyone who as ever cared for a very sick relative knows the physical and emotional strain engendered. While BUbba had to leave this world, as we all must, Judy was surely a huge comfort to him in his final years.
