ERNEST L. SEAL, SR age 70 of Newport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. He was retired from Pioneer Plastics. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Westend Tabernacle. His passion was singing praises to his Lord. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was loved by all who met him. He was involved with special music at Westview Baptist Church for many years. ERNEST L. SEAL, SR age 70 of Newport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. He was retired from Pioneer Plastics. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Westend Tabernacle. His passion was singing praises to his Lord. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was loved by all who met him. He was involved with special music at Westview Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Mary Lovin Seal; parents, Winton and Myrtle Seal; brothers and sisters, Edward, Truby, Beatrice, Paul, Doyle (Lucille), Orville (Norma) Seal, Inez Mills and brothers-in-law, Alonzo Drake, Ray Dalton and Jeff Campbell and sister-in-law, Susan Brooks. He is survived by his wife, Yuvonda Seal of Newport; son, Ernest Lewis Seal, Jr of Morganton, NC; daughter, Lisa Seal Watson of Morristown; step-son, Douglas Shropshire; step-children, Jeff, Missy and Debbie Lovin; grandchildren, John Paul Lewis Seal, Joshua and Jessica Setzer, Caleb Michael Seal, Ezra, Aaron and Luke; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Slate and River "Britches"; sisters, Ethel Drake of OH, Edna Dalton of Morristown and Bonnie (Rev. Bill) Wilkerson of Talbott; brother-in-law, David Campbell; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Dr. Earl Campbell and the Rev. Bill Wilkerson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. Military graveside with VFW Post #5266 officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundations. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
