A resident of Newark for over 86 years, Ernestine Malone passed away September 12, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard (Bob) Malone. She is survived by her daughters Linda and Sandy (Mark), her grandchildren Andrea and Aaron (Sarah), and her great grandchildren Jake, Kendall, Presley and Adellyn.
Ernestine worked at Haller's Pharmacy and Kmart, but is best known as a school bus driver for the Newark school district.
She was an avid bingo player and also attended local darts tournaments with her daughter Linda. She will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend her services Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at Lima Family Milpitas Mortuary

Sorry for the loss of your mother. Ernestine, (mom) was always a joy to be around at the dart games. We will miss her dearly. We won't be able to attend the
servers, but we will be there in spirit. Our prayers and love go out to you always.

My gosh, I don't know what to say. It has been so long, but certain memories still linger! I remember Ernestine always having a good sense of humor. A very caring woman! I remember she was always having fun with us girls!! Rest In Peace sweet lady!!!

My heart goes out to the family. Grandma Ernestine was a great woman, so many memories at Drea's house growing up. I am very blessed to have known such an amazing Grandma.
