Estela Flores Chavez entered eternal rest on August 6,2017 at the age of 91. Born in Gonzalez, TX to Manuel and Josefa Flores on July 7,1926; she now reunites with her parents, husband of 60 years, William Chavez, and 5 siblings. She is survived by her son David Chavez, 3 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews. Estela was an Elder of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all the staff at River City Hospice. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Service will continue on Saturday, August 12, 2017 with a 10:00 a.m. Chapel service. My condolences to the Chavez family on their loss. I attended Jerusalem church up to the time of joining the Army. Mrs Chavez was a sweet lady and she was always smiling. I will never forget her.
