Dear Family,
I have very fond memories of Esther. Her married name Becker was my maiden name, so I felt a special closeness to her. She and I were colleagues in the English department at Urban. We were also friends through AAUW for many years. I especially enjoyed seeing her last May at the Urban gathering at Rupp's.
Randy, I taught 9th grade English at Urban and had a student with your name. That would have been 1973-74, I think. Would you be that student? Sending deepest sympathy on the death of a wonderful lady and friend! I will miss not seeing her.

I am very sorry for your loss. Proverbs 17:17 tells us that "A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress." In times of sorrow, we can rely on the love and support of friends as well as family to help us cope. May the comfort they bring help carry you through this difficult time.

Dear Kerry, Dianne , and Randy. I checked the paper and saw your mother had passed. Val and I extend our condolences to you and your family. I can remember the good times I had visiting you in your home with Esther and Victor. Val says she remembers chatting with Esther during the Riverdale golf days, she always had a smile on her face.
