My deepest sympathies to the entire Scott family. Knowing your mother was and will remain a wonderful memory for me. As someone mentioned here, they thought she would live forever, and so did I. I have many fond recollections of her and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

Esther Scott, like her Biblical namesake, found courage to persevere through hardship, and provided others with the will to succeed. Her appreciation of the role elders can play in the lives of children is an inspiration for all whose life experience can benefit our youngest ones.
There are so many, especially children in need, who were the receipts of her gentle spirit, kind heart, and generosity.
We of Liberty Youth Ranch celebrate the life of Esther Scott, and pray her family will feel the comfort she has given to so many throughout her life.
We miss you, Esther!

Dearest Esther, a wonderful friend for 34 years. We cannot express in words just how much we will miss you. Margaret met you at Joske's Department store in Phoenix & was a member of a group of ladies that remained best friends throughout the years. We took trips, cruises, & participated in many other activities. You were always the chairman & no one else can fill your shoes. We've lost a soulmate which no one can replace. Our thoughts & prayers are with your blessed family.
Love, Margaret & Bud Sims

Esther had such a big heart. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Shepherd's Center of the Northland's, Breaktime club for years. She was a loving lady to our clients and a pleasure to work with every Thursday. Esther always reminded me so much of my own Grandmother, I enjoyed her company, and will miss her greatly. We lost a great one. Rest in Peace.

It was indeed a privilege to get to know Esther and spend quality time with her. She was such a thoughtful person to send me notes, call me, and we even were Facebook friends. She cared about people and particularly her family. There were a few times that we spent hours together in the car and she always shared her love for her Florida family Rick, Ann, Allison, Pierre, Jordan, Jeremy, and when I last saw her she was anxious to see baby Auguste. I know that the family is grieving the loss of a member of the family, but there are many like myself who were fortunate to meet her in our life's journey, become friends, and are better for the experience. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time and know that she will continue to make friends with everyone she meets in Heaven. With blessings and love to the family.

The food pantry at Good Shepherd UMC would not have been able to move from two shelves in a closet to the fully functioning organization that it is now without Esther's help. She was a diligent, faithful volunteer who was always ready to do anything that was needed. We will miss her smile, her kind words, her encouragement, and her servant's heart. May God comfort her family during this time of grief.

I have so many wonderful memories of Esther. She was a true friend to my mother for many years, and we all loved her down-to-earth, no-nonsense attitude. It is no wonder that those whom she influenced became so successful. She will be missed very much by her Arizona friends.

Grandma you are going to be deeply missed. There are so many memories that our family has and we are going to cherish them forever. I am so blessed that we have had all the years with you and that you were able to meet my boys and be a part of their lives. Kenneth will always be reminded that the blanky he carries daily was made by his great grandma Scott and he will cherish it forever. Karson will continue to call you Granny because that was the word he started to say the many times we came to see you at the hospital. We were so lucky to have you as our Grandma/Great Grandma!! We love you and Miss you so much!! Garret, Misti, Kenneth, and Karson

I don't ever recall NOT knowing Esther and always marveled at her strength and dedication to her family. I remember her laughing, always laughing. She was a wonderful and very dear friend to my mother and when I saw her at my mother's funeral 3 short months ago, I thought, "Esther is going to live forever". I'm so sorry I was wrong. My best to Bill, Rick, Kathi, Roger and Steve. You are in my thoughts this bittersweet holiday season. Marsha Pillers

Esther was the grandmother my daughter Ashley never had until their paths crossed in Florida and I will always be grateful for the bond the two of them enjoyed. I remember the quick wit, glint in her eye and wonderful sense of humor she brought to the campaign in 2010. My thanks to the Scott family for sharing this grand lady with so many of us.
