Obituary

Eugene E. "Brick" Brickhouse entered into rest on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Alexandria, LA. Celebration of life services for Eugene E. "Brick" Brickhouse will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville with Pastor Dennis Snoddy officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 12:00 PM until service time at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, Leesville. Interment will follow in Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Polk, LA. Mr. Brickhouse, 82, was born in Portsmouth, VA. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Full military...

Celebration of life services for Eugene E. "Brick" Brickhouse will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville with Pastor Dennis Snoddy officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 12:00 PM until service time at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, Leesville. Interment will follow in Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Polk, LA.

Mr. Brickhouse, 82, was born in Portsmouth, VA. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Full military honors will be presented at the interment.

Eugene E. "Brick" Brickhouse was preceded in death by his parents, John Lewis Brickhouse and Martha Melissa Gallop; as well as one brother Irvin Brickhouse.

Survivors include one son, Mark Brickhouse and wife Tammie; four daughters, Janet Brown and her husband Jonathan; Debbie Wroten and her husband Lee Allen, Jr.; Mary Repine; Sandra Seaman and her husband James; one brother, Will Annarrino; three sisters, Lois McCoy, Lori Annarrino, Rose Mary Candelaria; 9 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
