Years ago I was friends with Janice. I remember when the family lived in Ft. D.A. Russell. Janice and I used to ride the bus together. Fast forward, I needed a place to stay and your mother opened her home to me. Let me stay with her and her family when I was at my deepest hour. I really did not know her but I will never forget her hospitality towards me. She made a difference in my life and I never forgot it.

Grandma was a great lady that I loved dearly. I Will always have the fond memories of talking to her about her childhood and how she grew up. She was a very intelligent lady. We would usually end up talking about genetics and our family history or some other facet of academia. She always had a thirst for more knowledge, especially language, If not for her blindness I am sure she would have read every article Wikipedia had to offer. I will also miss the silly pranks we pulled on each other on holidays, and the wild things she would say that would have everyone in a room in stitches.
She will be missed greatly by many people. She was a strong woman who had a long life filled with joy ,sorrow, and everything in between that makes up the human experience. But I know in the end what she cared about most was her love for her family which she always held above all else.
I loved my grandma and I wish for her eternal happiness in whatever lies beyond this life.

Oh Grandma... You had so much more to give this world. I can not and will not believe this was your time. I am sure you miss home just as much as home misses you. God if I could take back time I would have spent so much more time with you. You give me a reason to be okay with dying one day, being able to see you again is that reason. I so wish Harvey could have been blessed with your embrace but I know you will have your wings wrapped around her and all your family. Knowing I have you as my angel is an awesome feeling. I will talk to you always and in every step I will hear your words of advice. I yearn to be a great woman like you. You are my hero and you are greatly missed. I love you and miss you a lot

...She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful, when she had that sparkle in her eye when she talked about something she loved. And she was beautiful for her ability to make others smile even if she were sad. She was beautiful deep down to her soul.... Fitz
Our deepest condolences, she will be deeply missed.
