Mrs. Eva Adell Parham, 98, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 in McGregor, Texas.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Moody Church of Christ with Mr. David Echols officiating. Interment will follow in the Moody Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 10 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor.
Mrs. Parham was born January 1, 1919 to Robert Allie and Martha (Riley) Fox in Cass County, Texas. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1937. Eva married the love of her life, Buck B. Parham on September 23, 1938 and they celebrated 51 wonderful years of marriage. She was a longtime resident of Moody and a member of Moody Church of Christ. Eva was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buck B. Parham; son, Roland Carrol Parham; grandson, Don Phillips.
Mrs. Parham leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter, Yvonne Phillips of Waco; son, Larry Dale Parham of Moody; grandchildren, Brad Phillips and wife, Shelly of Cleburne, Ken Phillips and wife, Angela of Amarillo, Jeffrey Parham of Hagerstown, MD, and Tammy Yates and husband, Randy of Troy; 8 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Whittington of Texarkana, Nauty Wright of Longview; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the medical personnel and the employees at the Coffee Shop for their support given to the family.
