Memorial services for Eva Gail Smith will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at 10:00 am at Park Hill Baptist Church with Brother John Lee officiating. She will be interred at Barber Cemetery in Welling, OK following the service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.reedculver.com.
Eva Gail (Sellers) Smith was born on July 22nd, 1962 in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Clayton Sellers and Carol (Roberts)Hartwell.
Eva Gail, or Gail to her family and friends, grew up in a large household of one brother and six sisters, Randy, Cathy, Karen, Regina, Kay, Janis and Renee. She graduated from Tahlequah High School, and began her studies at NSU. She married Michael Smith and together they raised two sons and one daughter, Blayne, Derek, and Krysten. Gail was a loving, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was always there, offering her help with all the daily challenges that came up. She was kind, cheerful, and happy, always ready to spend time with her grandchildren, the five best people in the world to Gail. When she had spare time, Gail loved to curl up and read a good book. A Baptist by faith, the Lord called this kind and loving woman home from her labors on May 7th, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK. She was 54 years old. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Gail is preceded in death by one son, Derek Chase Smith.
Those left cherish her memory include her loving husband, Michael Smith of the home, one son, Michael Blayne Smith and wife Chelsea of Welling, OK, one daughter, and Krysten Renee Smith of Tahlequah, OK. Gail leaves her parents, Clayton Sellers of Welling, OK and Carol Hartwell of Muskogee, OK, one brother, Randy Sellers and wife Cindy of Welling, OK, six sisters, Cathy Barum and husband Mark of Longwood, CO, Karen Sellers of Welling, OK, Regina Struble of Russellville, AR, Kay Fridley and husband Jerry of Branson, MO, Janis Davis and husband Glen of Muskogee, OK, and Renee Cage and husband Dennis of Muskogee, OK. Her legacy lives on in her 5 adored grandchildren, Austin Weidhower, Ryan Weidhower, Cash Smith, Brooks Smith, and Hannah Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

My first memory of Gail was in Sunday School, before we were in school. She was a sweet person with a ready smile. I look forward to seeing her in heaven some day.
