Eva E. Adams, 101, of Austin passed away the 2nd of September 2010 in Austin. Eva was born April 9, 1909 in Whitehouse, Tennessee. She moved to Austin as a young lady and has been a long time resident. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Communications Workers of America and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ernest "Buster" Adams, in 1991. She is survived by two nieces, Margaret Clark of Midlothian and Joanna Lawrence and her husband, Rocky, of Wheatland, Wyoming; one nephew, W. E. Adams and his wife, Christine, of Houston; several great-nieces and nephews. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock to eight o'clock in the evening on Monday, the 6th of September 2010, in the Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin. The funeral service is to be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 7th of September 2010, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.

My Aunt, Margaret Nauert, was a coworker of Eva at Southwestern Bell. They were faithful friends until Margaret's death in 2007. Keep beautiful memories of both of them. Blessings, Frieda Ryden-Davidson
