Eva A. Nowlin Holt of Victoria, loving Mother and Grandmother, passed away in her home, peacefully in her sleep on July 4, 2012. She was born March 7, 1915, in Olivia to the late Mattie Perkins Nowlin and Thomas H. Nowlin. Eva was a devout Christian who lived her life according to the Word of God. She was a successful realtor as well as the Society Editor for the Valley Morning Star newspaper. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Holt; her son, Thomas L. Eva is survived by her children, JoAnne Dillard, Theresa Cavender (Scott), Mark Brobst (Pat), Dianne London and Sarah Geistman; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 5 great great-grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 9, 2012, at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
