Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, in 2011; parents, Edna (Pohl) and Chester Gregory; and son-in-law, Thomas Listenfelt.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Listenfelt of Evansville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clifton "Corky" and Anne Ashby of Terre Haute, IN; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
