Evelyn, devoted and loving mother to her children Sarah and Paul and wife to husband Clive, passed away peacefully at Laurel Place Hospice early in the morning Friday, October 19, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Kelvin (Edna), Steven (Jillian), Vivian (Grant), and Rod and her many relatives and friends. Evelyn is joining her parents Dick and Lily Fong who predeceased her. The family is very grateful to the staff at Fraser Valley Cancer Centre, Surrey Memorial Hospital and Laurel Place Hospice and her friends and relatives, for the care, support and assistance she received while fighting her tenacious yet gracious battle with cancer. Her service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
