Evelyn passed away on April 23, 2014 at the age of 96. She relocated to Boulder, CO from Woburn, MA in 1996 to be close to her immediate family. Evelyn was born in Revere, MA to Herbert Hall and Emily Lloyd, the 2nd of two children. She married Frank P. DiPanfilo on August 3, 1941 and was happily married to him for 68 years. She was educated in Woburn and graduated Woburn High in 1934.
Evelyn was a homemaker her whole life and she was a great support to her husband and her children. Frank was extremely active in the Lions Club and she was active as a Lioness. They traveled the world together with the Lions. She was co-chair of the March of Dimes, and although not Italian herself, she was very active in the South End Italian Club.
She will be greatly missed by her two daughters Brenda and Cheryl, as well as Brenda's spouse Peggy Tate; son-in-law Charles Gower; grandchildren Frank Gower and Jo Stoeber and her husband, Justin Stoeber; brother-in-law James and his wife, Kay; and her countless nieces and nephews.
A private family celebration will be held in Woburn, MA in August, 2014. Evelyn will be laid to rest with her husband Frank, her son Frank, Jr. and her daughter Janice. She was a wonderful woman who contributed much and will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
