Evelyn H. Ibrahim Ramsay, was born March 21, 1929, in Mashgharah, Lebanon overlooking the Bekaa Valley. She was a beloved Mother, Sister of a large loving family, Aunt, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Evelyn was a very devoted Presbyterian and had a beautiful, close relationship with Christ. She went to be home with her loving lord on Saturday, June 7th 2014.

Evelyn attended a Christian school in Lebanon, speaking 3 languages fluently, and proud of her successes with loving family support. She immigrated to the United States in 1962 to study and work in the medical records field later marring her loving husband; Neil Ramsay. In 1969 they celebrated the addition of their beautiful daughter Lena.

Evelyn had a beautiful eye and passion for life. This is evident by the many beautiful creations of art that she painted throughout her life. She sold many pieces of her art and even gave some away to her close friends. Her home is still adorned with the beauty of her works of art. She shared her love of family, heritage and travels of the world. As she would share her stories to all who would take the time to listen and be a part of her life. It was no joke that Evelyn was immensely talented showing her love of life through her needle work, photography, paintings and many, many other talents. She was also a very talented gourmet cook. Many family and friends enjoyed her parties and excellent food. She was the utmost elegant lady.

One of Evelyn's greatest achievements was in her love of photography. Being an avid photographer, and developer, she won many prestigious awards with the Columbine Camera Club and the Pikes Peak Camera Club to name only a few throughout the years.

Even as Evelyn began to decline in her later years, facing the difficulties of dementia, honor and dignity; she continued to do needle work and crochet as a way to express herself through her love of art. Her love and talents will continue to bless us, reminding us of her beauty and love of life that will never be forgotten.

She leaves behind her daughter, Lena Ramsay (Michael Richards), Granddaughter Jacqueline Allen (Christopher Allen) and 4 great-grandchildren, and Grandson Jeremy Olson. A special thanks to her niece and nephew; Helene and Raja Ibrahim.
