Everett was the Co-founder of The Heartland Institute, was an avid player of piano, bridge, and scrabble and a big time lover of life. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at The Union League Club, 65 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago followed by a reception until 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Ct., Glenview, IL 60025.
