OPARIEK, Ewdokia (Dusia) - After a prolonged illness, on Thursday, June 11, 2015, Ewdokia Opariek, surrounded by her family fell asleep in the Lord in the comfort of her home. Beloved wife of the late Ivan (John) Opariek. Cherished mother of Dosia (Cos), Natalia (Orest) and the late Petro. Loving grandmother of Andrey (Tanya), Levko, Bohdanna (Roman), Raeissa (Mike), Yaroslav (Jenn), and Mikola (Alyssa). Great-grandmother of Kalyna, Matviko, Timmy, Milana, and Maksym. Cherished mother of Dosia (Cos), Natalia (Orest) and the late Petro. Loving grandmother of Andrey (Tanya), Levko, Bohdanna (Roman), Raeissa (Mike), Yaroslav (Jenn), and Mikola (Alyssa). Great-grandmother of Kalyna, Matviko, Timmy, Milana, and Maksym.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda will be served in the chapel at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 65 Facer St. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery , Oakville. Memorial donations made to St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. On-line tributes may be made at www.hulseandenglish.com.

A heartfelt thank you to her family physician; Dr. Waler for his friendship, love, loyalty and professional care. A very special thank you to the staff of CCAC, HNHB beginning with Care Coordinator Jane Hanna along with the Palliative Care team: Care Coordinator Paola Lawrence, Nurse Practitioner Ann Pizzacalla, and Dr. Dooler. Much appreciation to the Personal Support Worker staff with St. Elizabeth Health Care: Bozhana, Carole, Helen, Adrianna, Lisa, and Maria and her Hospice Niagara Volunteer; Shelley. We are so very grateful for the exceptional care and support that all these wonderful people gave to Ewdokia and our family.
