Farrell Lee Brandenburg, 83, of Greencastle passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014. He was born on January 6, 1931 in Anderson to Farrell Leo Brandenburg and Mabel Geneva Taylor Brandenburg. Farrell served his country in the US Army and was a 50 year member of the Lapel Masonic Lodge. He retired from General Motors Guide Lamp division with 43 years of service. Farrell was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Tim Brandenburg and a sister-in-law, Leah Brandenburg. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Sandra M. Whelchel Brandenburg; three children, Karen Cler and husband, John of Pendleton, Yvonne Brandenburg of Carmel and Casey...

He was born on January 6, 1931 in Anderson to Farrell Leo Brandenburg and Mabel Geneva Taylor Brandenburg.

Farrell served his country in the US Army and was a 50 year member of the Lapel Masonic Lodge.

He retired from General Motors Guide Lamp division with 43 years of service.

Farrell was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Tim Brandenburg and a sister-in-law, Leah Brandenburg.

Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Sandra M. Whelchel Brandenburg; three children, Karen Cler and husband, John of Pendleton, Yvonne Brandenburg of Carmel and Casey Brandenburg and wife Candy of Anderson; a granddaughter Katherine Cler; his twin brother, Darrell Lee Brandenburg of Anderson; five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 5998 West US Highway 36. Graveside Services will follow at Clinton Falls Cemetery, with Rev. Dale Payne officiating.
