Fay Machinis, nee Mezilson (Meziltzolgou), 95 years old passed away peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Machinis; loving mother of Catherine (James) Economos and Alexander P. (Lisa); wonderful grandmother of Alyssa and Peter Machinis; dear sister of the late James M. Mezilson, the late Helen (the late Angelo) Pappas, the late Connie (the late Bill) Alevizos, and the late Christ (the late Shirley) Mezilson; fond aunt of many loving nieces and nephews; loyal friend and neighbor to many. Lifetime member of Ladies Hellenic Society "Agia Paraskevi". Family wishes to gratefully acknowledge her caregiver, Maryam Diagne. Fay, the last of the 5 Meziltzolgou (Mezilson)children born to parents from Greece.
The children made contributions to America and honored their heritage to Greece.
Fay was always at the center of things.
May she rest in peace.
