Felicitas H. Suarez passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the age of 84. She was born on October 17, 1930, to Jose and Aurora Herrera in Taft, Texas. Felicitas was a retired Teacher Aide for The Taft Independent School District. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and very dedicated to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roberto G. Suarez; sons, Robert H. Suarez, Jose Rolando Suarez; son-in-law, Eduardo Garza; grandchildren, Valerie Alvarez and John Roy Alvarez, Jr.
Felicitas will always be loved and remembered by Reynaldo H. (Margie) Suarez, Mary Alice (Hector) Vela, Helen (Carlos) Aparicio, Mary Ann Garza and Mary Estella (Frank) Alvarado; seventeen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Taft. Burial will follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens, Portland.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Norudin, Dr. Gregory, Harbor Hospice and especially Evelyn, Jackie, Ruby, Rosa and Father Zerr.
