Felix J. Alfino, age 91, passed away among his family on the evening of August 4, 2012, at Oak Hill Hospital in Spring Hill, Florida. He was born on Janurary 11, 1921 in Bronx, New York. After flying 24 successful missions in the Air Corps during WWII, Felix married his wife, Assunta, on January 17, 1948 and raised three children during their 58-year marriage: Chris, Phillip, and Anne. Felix was a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a rigorous professional in the engineering field. Felix was also a devoted New York Yankees baseball fan and golf enthusiast, sharing his love of life with his family.
Felix is preceded in death by his wife and his son, Phillip.
In addition to his children, Felix is survived by his sister, Rose, his grandchildren, Christopher, Kathryn, Joseph, Tonja, and Vanessa, and his great-grandchildren, Daniel, Lilliana, Davon, Maverick, Shayla, and Felix Joseph II.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 9, 11:00 AM at Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 16931 US 19, Hudson, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Felix's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, either through the mail at 370 7th Avenue, Suite 1802?New York, New York 10001, or online at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Dear Anne and Chris,
I mourn the passing of your father. He was a very big part of our lives, both Joey's and mine. I think he must be there as you all meet Felix for the first time. My thoughts are with you and the entire family.
