Felix was born on July 31, 1970 in Tijuana, Mexico, but soon moved to San Diego, California. He was the son of Alberto Hernandez and Maria Isabel Hernandez. Felix was raised in San Diego. Always a very happy person, he is described as always making others smile. Felix was raised with three siblings. He had an older brother, Alberto, an older sister, Lupe and a younger sister, Lucia. He attended St. Jude's Catholic School for elementary and middle school and graduated from Marion High School. He was very supportive and loving towards his family. Felix was born on July 31, 1970 in Tijuana, Mexico, but soon moved to San Diego, California. He was the son of Alberto Hernandez and Maria Isabel Hernandez. Felix was raised in San Diego. Always a very happy person, he is described as always making others smile.

Felix was raised with three siblings. He had an older brother, Alberto, an older sister, Lupe and a younger sister, Lucia. He attended St. Jude's Catholic School for elementary and middle school and graduated from Marion High School. He was very supportive and loving towards his family.

As a young boy, Felix got along well with all of his peers. He was always surrounded by a lot of friends. Felix always had many colorful stories that he shared about his childhood.

Through his hard work and dedication he graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's of Arts and received his teaching credential and his Master's Degree in Educational Technology from National University. He taught second grade at Sherman Elementary and fourth grade at Cesar Chavez Elementary. He continued his career as a Technology Resource teacher at Perkins Elementary.

Felix was described as a leader and a mentor. His colleagues always spoke very highly of Felix. They admired his dedication and perseverance. All the people that met him loved him.

On August 16, 1997, Felix married Leticia Hernandez at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Felix and Leticia were blessed with three children, Felix, Pablo and Sofia. He enjoyed being a father and participated in all parts of their lives. It was the most pleasurable part of his life. He was always looking for new experiences to enjoy with his family.

Felix was very compassionate and loving. He loved his family with a deep passion. His siblings and parents were very important to him. He was always looking forward to family gatherings and parties.

Felix loved music and was always the life of the party. Since he was a DJ since he was sixteen, music was a very important part of his life. He always carried his iPod, just in case the event needed music. He was definitely the life of the party.

Felix enjoyed every aspect of his life. He took every experience he had and made it the best one yet. His was an amazing man who had a lot to share with the world.

He is survived by his wife, three children, his parents, his three siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
