Fellan Joseph Albarado, 79, a native of Grand Bayou and resident of Pierre Part, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at his home. Fellan was a born again Christian. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing music. He often donated his free time cooking and playing music for nursing homes and other senior citizen charities. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lesia Tate Albarado; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Danny Bernard; two sons, Donnie Albarado and fiancé, Trudy Thibodaux, and Dale Albarado and wife, Ann; step-daughter, Kim Avery Brown and husband, Stacey; five grandchildren, Becky Crocker and husband...
Fellan Joseph Albarado, 79, a native of Grand Bayou and resident of Pierre Part, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at his home. Fellan was a born again Christian. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing music. He often donated his free time cooking and playing music for nursing homes and other senior citizen charities.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lesia Tate Albarado; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Danny Bernard; two sons, Donnie Albarado and fiancé, Trudy Thibodaux, and Dale Albarado and wife, Ann; step-daughter, Kim Avery Brown and husband, Stacey; five grandchildren, Becky Crocker and husband Randy, Donnie Albarado, Jr., and wife Kim, Lori Acosta and husband, Jason, Jake Albarado, and Bailey Albarado; four great grandchildren, Caitlin Dugas, Brayden Albarado, Rylee Crocker, and Olivia Acosta; three step-grandchildren, Jackson Corry, Hallie Smith, and Troy J. Brown; three sisters, Clara Capella, Maudry Dupuy, and Margie Cotton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Walter Albarado, Sr., and Palmire Raffray Albarado; seven sisters, Palmire Constant, Audrey Mabile, Hazel Allen, Gracie Blanchard, Mildred Michellie, Evelyn Cotton, and Alta Romero; five brothers, Walter Albarado, Jr., Eddie Albarado, Murry Albarado, Linwood Albarado, and Warren Albarado; and two infant brothers, Norris Albarado and Hubbie Albarado.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 6:00 p.m-9:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Religious service to follow at Belle River Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
