Fenton R. Buettner, 93, of Texarkana, TX passed away May 7, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Buettner was born February 20, 1919. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service in 1974; was a U. S. Army veteran; and a member of First Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Simmons Buettner.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, John and Tha Buettner of Longview, TX; grandsons, Brian and Brad Buettner of Baton Rouge, LA; step son and step daughter-in-law, Tom and Cindy Simmons of Texarkana, TX; brothers, Glenn Buettner of Gladewater, TX, John Buettner of St. Louis, MO and Delano Buettner of St. Louis, MO; and a sister, Zona Hogrebe of St. Louis, MO..
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance.
