Vevante II, Ferdinand of Bethpage, formerly of Hicksville, NY. Beloved husband of the late Theresa. Loving father of the late Michael, Kevin, Brian, Ferdinand III, and Barry. Treasured grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 2. Ferdinand was a founding member of the Sons of Italy in Hicksville, NY. He was a Past President of the Hicksville Republican Club, The Long Island Pool and Spa Association, and the Northeast Pool and Spa Association. Ferdinand was also a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2-5PM & 7-9PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church Hicksville, NY. Interment to follow at L.I. National Cemetery, East Farmingdale, NY.

My heart is heavy with this news mr vevante was such an awesome person. Although I haven't seen him I many years I remember our great conversations at Nassau community college. He was so interesting to talk to. I still miss Mike and think of him often. Now they are together. My deepest condolences to the vevante family
