Fern Adams Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 5, 2012.

Our beloved Fern passed on July 3, 2012. She will always be remembered as the best wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Frank, her children Laura Smiley (Redmond, WA), Mike Adams (Bear, DE) and Scott Adams (Landisville, PA), her four grandchildren (Amy Smiley, Katharyn Bennett, Sydney & Emma Adams) and her three great-grandchildren (Rebecca, Alexa & Anabella Bennett).

Fern Nygaard was born July 9, 1928 in Providence, RI and traveled the country with her family until settling in Fleetwood, PA where she met her husband Francis Adams after WWII. They moved to Newark, DE where Fern was a devoted mother and homemaker raising their three children. She moved to Sammamish, after retirement to enjoy the Pacific Northwest.

We knew Fern as the the mother-in-law of our daughter Lisa. She was a sweet, kind, and gentle woman who raised a great guy in her son Scott who married my daughter.
