No regrets should be felt by you 3. You were the ones that were always there for her...you were her compass that kept her course as straight as possible. Now her trip is over and she is with your dad again! We love you guys but you already know that! Our love Dar & Ray

What wonderful pictures of your family! It has been such a delight to know both your mom and dad these past years. I will always rememeber your mom's singing--the bawdy songs were the best--laughter makes the workload lighter and she provided lots of laughter! I'm glad she has found peace,I will miss her.

To all my family in Seattle: I am so sorry that we have lost Fern, that dear person whose laughter and personality made her one of the true "characters" of the family. I have so many fond memories: Fern having to carry me as a small child through the Funhouse at Playland because I was too scared to walk, all the time spent at family picnics and visits at Granite Falls and, most recently, the reunions that Fern and Al had at their home.
You couldn't have asked for a more devoted mother.
With love from Diane & Fred
