The world lost one of its most genuine, loving, friendly, and gracious souls on August 28th, 2014, with the passing of Fernando Trevino, 25 hours before his 81'st birthday.

Fernando was a multifaceted man whose kindness and outgoingness brought great joy to everyone around him which gave him much pleasure. He creating an aura around him that put everyone at ease; always being able to talk to anyone about anything.
Fernie enjoyed life on every level with his wife, best friend and soul mate, Hope. They have spent 56 wonderful full years together enjoying their family and love together.

Together they traveled explored the lands near and far. They frequently visited Hawaii with family and friends, drove across the country many times venturing the USA. Fernando also has visited Puerto Rico, Germany, and recently said the sea on a cruise to British Columbia.
Fernie was proud to have served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy and Air Force for a combined of 34 years. He was stationed in Japan for three years when he first enlisted and was also in the CB Reserves where he traveled many places.

Fernie was an amazing father to his three loving daughters, Roxanne, Sylvia and Kathy. He could take special pride in always being a good listener and being able to always make them laugh. He was a caring, thoughtful and gentle father to each of his children as they were very special to him and he loved them as uniquely as they are.

Fernie provided a glowing example of how to live life with a smile as he touched the world in a positive light in many ways, leaving a legacy of joy, laughter and love.

Fernie and his family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all close friends, and family who have offered their support and love throughout the years. You made a huge difference in our lives and we truly appreciate you.

We are now without our father, husband, friend, and confidant. There will be no other like Fernando, but his memory of laughter and love will live forever in our hearts and minds.

The Heaven's are full tonight with one more star that twinkles above us shining brightly always in the sky looking over us.

Arrangements under the direction of Mountain View Mortuary, San Bernardino, CA.
