Obituary

Fidel Castro Aleman, our Father and husband, passed from this life to his eternal rest on August 20, 2012. Our Father was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on April 28, 1924. Our Father was the youngest of four children and the last surviving child of Basilia Castro, As a young aspiring man, dad moved to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, became an entrepreneur, and opened a small business for several years. Dad loved baseball and during his years in Monterrey, Mexico he became a well-known and respected umpire for the Mexican Baseball League serving for over 45 years, he also umpired throughout Texas for many colleges and city leagues. ...
Fidel Castro Aleman, our Father and husband, passed from this life to his eternal rest on August 20, 2012. Our Father was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on April 28, 1924. Our Father was the youngest of four children and the last surviving child of Basilia Castro, As a young aspiring man, dad moved to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, became an entrepreneur, and opened a small business for several years. Dad loved baseball and during his years in Monterrey, Mexico he became a well-known and respected umpire for the Mexican Baseball League serving for over 45 years, he also umpired throughout Texas for many colleges and city leagues. Dad's desire to move and raise his family in Texas lead him to make his home in Bryan, Texas where he learned the skill of tailoring. He then moved his family to Houston, Texas where he mastered his tailoring skills and was the personal tailor requested by many well-known athletes and professionals throughout Houston for many years. Upon retiring, dad left Houston to make his home for his family in Hidalgo, Texas where he lived for over 25 years.



Our Father is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Aurora C. Aleman. Surviving children are, Elivia Romanow, husband, John, Fidel Aleman, wife Ann, Teresa Sanchez, Albert Aleman, John Aleman, wife Dana, Richard Aleman, wife Leticia, Rodolfo Aleman, wife Nereida , and Maricruz Caeg, husband Clarence. Our Father is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.



Our Father lived a full and very blessed life, he loved in the greatest capacity and lived life day by day to its fullest. He leaves a legacy of love, caring and sacrifice for the entire family. We will carry his love in our hearts and his legacy in our memories forever.



The viewing will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home 2160 Gulf Freeway Webster, Tx. 77598 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The burial will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. also at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
