RICHARD, Fidele Joseph
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Fidele Joseph Richard on September 13th, 2014, at the age of 82. Fidele passed away peacefully in palliative care at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with loving family at his side, including his devoted wife Bernadette, his caring sons Roland and Ronald, and his loyal brother Leo and wife Julia. Predeceased by his parents Pierre and Eugenie Richard, Fidele also leaves behind his two daughters, Diane and Joanne, son-in-laws Dan Tsubouchi and Dan Guatto, daughter-in-law Ody Richard, and three grandchildren, Kaydi, Jarrett and Charly. He is survived by his siblings Alice, Nora, Rosalie, Leo, Jerry and Emile; while brothers Marcel, Placide and Patrick, and sisters Aurore and Melanie welcomed him with open arms in heaven.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Kevin Corless for his support, kindness and compassion, as well as to the staff at the Lakeridge Health for their wonderful care.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome to attend mass at ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER PARISH (1100 Mary Street N.) on Thursday, September 18th, at 11 a.m., followed by lunch. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated.
"Absent from the body, present with the Lord." We will remember and love you always. Rest in peace.

My godfather oncle Fidèle, you reminded me of Jerry Lee Lewis without the edge. A beautiful man from the inside out, I wish we could have been neighbors.
Love always,
