So long to a gracious and wonderful friend. We had such good times traveling the world together. Paul, Freddie, and Gene had the best of mothers. I was priviledged to have known her.

Gene and family,
While I did not know your mother personally, I have heard Gene's stories of her. I know the daughter she raised, and feel certain she must have been an exceptional woman. I am sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Gene and Family,
We will miss our dear Ms. Huntley so much. She always attended our Class of 1959, Central High School Class Runions, with great joy and good cheer. She was a mentor to many of us and I never saw her in bad humor. Her loss is one we all share. Also, she raised a daughter whose teaching skills and enthusiasm changed the direction of my son Trey's life!
Much love,
Arleen Clark Higgins

Paul, Freddie,&Gene,I will greatly miss your mother. She has been such an inspirational person.I wish she had stayed at least 3 years longer at Garinger so that I may have had the honor of being taught by her. Flora was such a delightful woman. I thank you Paul and Carol for introducing her to me and suggesting me to her to become her hairstylist. I want to thank Gene for bringing her mother in to get her hair fixed in her more difficult times of getting around. I've said a prayer for all of you in the loss of your mother, and continue praying that all of you are able to cope with your loss as I have done so in the past. It's not easy at first, but with time , it does get easier. Freddie, I wish I had gotten to meet you,but all I got to see was a picture of the three of you as children. I'll continue to pray for all of you as you mourn. GOD BE WITH YOU TILL YOU MEET AGAIN! Barbara Nowlan (Flora & Gene's hairstylist).
