Biography

      Fern Florence Allison was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Fern will be remembered as a very exceptional person.        She was the daughter of Oliver Clow and Lena Storms.       Fern was raised with one sibling. She had one sister, Jean Berry. Fern was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her sister. She and her sister experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.        Empathic and loyal, Fern was committed to making her new family happy.       Fern worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Fern was blessed with two children, One son, Wayne (Lynn) and one daughter, Jill Sardo (Bob).       Fern’s faith was important to her. She was a lifetime member of St. John United Church.       Fern passed away on January 18, 2012 at Arborcreek Nursing Home. She is survived by her children Wayne and his wife, Lynn ; her daughter Jill Sardo and her husband Bob ; her grandchildren Derek and Laurie, Brett and Lesley, Dana and Tom, Jeffrey, Julie Ann and Ryan, Debbie and Craig, Kathy and Jason; her great-grandchildren; Emma, Jack, Luke, Cole,...

       She was the daughter of Oliver Clow and Lena Storms.

      Fern’s faith was important to her. She was a lifetime member of St. John United Church.

      Fern passed away on January 18, 2012 at Arborcreek Nursing Home. She is survived by her children Wayne and his wife, Lynn ; her daughter Jill Sardo and her husband Bob ; her grandchildren Derek and Laurie, Brett and Lesley, Dana and Tom, Jeffrey, Julie Ann and Ryan, Debbie and Craig, Kathy and Jason; her great-grandchildren; Emma, Jack, Luke, Cole, Madison, Hudson, Ranger, Peyton and Shyler. Services were held at St. John United Church. Fern was laid to rest in Mount Hamilton Cemetery.

      Simply stated, Fern was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Fern leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Fern Florence Allison.
