NORWICH – Florence Marie Cournoyer, 83, of 13 Lornadale Dr., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 5th, 1929 in Fitchburg, MA, a daughter of the late Joseph Emile and Delia Xavier (Garceau) Lamontagne.
She is survived by a brother; Theodore Lamontagne of Kissimee, FL, daughter; Linda Cournoyer of Woonsocket, RI, son and daughter-in-law; Ted and Lorraine Maranda of Woonsocket, RI, daughters and son-in-law; Terry and Jerry Nault of North Augusta, SC, and Dawn and Gerard Desrosiers of Norwich, CT., eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law; Bob and Barbara Cournoyer, two sisters; Teresa Dumais and Sandra Gouin, and two brothers; Marcel and Emile Lamontagne.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Baltic, CT on Thursday at 10am. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
