I still miss Cal keenly, especially after the death of my brother Robin (9/17/20). I used to tell Cal about Robin, out on every picket line, even in his wheelchair. They were both already citizens of a better future. I hope they are there now.

Cal was the very best of the best. He knew who was who and what was what, with an unerring eye for the truth. He was the most fun person to talk to and the most generous person with his time and effort. The world has lost a wonderful person.

Sincere sympathy to the entire Carrillo family...My shared birthday with my beloved "Primo" will NEVer be the same but I will always cherish his memory as a gift - especially on Jan 17. With a sense of gratitude I also say farewell to this kindred spirit who will be greatly missed. Let all of us who Florencio loved take sweet comfort in the knowledge that the voice of a million angels Now welcomes him into the Everlasting loving arms of our Heavenly Father. -Untill we meet again "Primo"... Rejoice in Eternity!

Dearest Cal, it's hard to accept that you are gone, but I think understanding why you're gone will help me with the acceptance. You have always been this hard worker who always welcomed me into your home and anyone else who walked through your door. You are a very generous man and would make sure that everyone was good before you were good. You are an amazing man, person, father, and I thank God for sharing you with us for 56 years. And I want you to know that although you are gone from this life, you are born into the greater life, eternal life. Our memories of you will bring us comfort and joy because those memories can never be taken away and we will keep them safely in our heart. God will always be there for us and our faith in him will lead us to you. You will always forever be remembered and I do hope that those who love you who are hurting the most will find comfort in knowing that you are now resting in peace with the Lord at your side. Love you, Cal.

Nino!
How I will forever miss saying that. You always treated me as family and I will always be grateful for that. You meant so much to so many and knew how to always make someone's day. Whether it be sitting down and talking or talking smack and letting us have it, it was always done with the sarcasm that only you could provide.
Thank You for everything!! You will be truly missed by everyone.
I Love You,
Your Godson

Uncle Cal, I am going to miss you dearly. I miss our talks and I will really miss the way you always seemed to make us laugh, even in the toughest of times. I always looked forward to our Saturdays when you would make a big breakfast at Grandma's. We are so fortunate to have been blessed with such a class act. Your integrity, hard work and tireless dedication in everything you have ever done will be unmatched. I am grateful to have had such an honorable man to call my uncle and a true friend.

Cal was the best employee a principal could ask for. His work ethic was second to none. Not a day went by that I knew the school, students, and staff would be taken care of because of his hard work and dedication. I will miss you my brother and you will never be replaced.
