A loving father and grandfather, he passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 92 and a retired pipefitter with local 198. He was a native of Urbana, Ark., resident of Denham Springs, and United States Navy Veteran of WWII who served in Pearl Harbor. Visiting from 1:00 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by two daughters, Pat Fuselier and Carolyn Higginbothom; a son, Floyd Davis, Jr and wife Dawn; two sisters, Thelma Jean Chaney and Ruth Peace; a brother, Billy Ray Davis; and seven grandchildren, Cody and Jacob Davis, Gail Clark, Randy Goff, Donna Fuselier, Hollea Holiday and Bubbe Day. Preceded in death by his wife, Aline Ortego Davis; daughter, June Day; parents; a sister and a brother. He was a member of the Local 198 Pipefitters Union.

Floyd, Cody and all the family members and friends who loved your Dad, Just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your lost. And to say thank you to your Dad, For serving in WW2, it most definitely was the worlds greatest generation. I pray that God is with each one of you in your time of sorrow. Your friend Kyle

My paw paw was the kindest, gentle man. He was always there for me as a child. I could not have asked for a better man as my paw paw. I know he loved my mother as a daughter and she lived him as a father. Paw paw say hello to Mam Aline and my dad Harold in Heaven as one day we will all be together again.
