On May 15th, 2017, God decided to bring one of His angels home. Known as Ann Watson Trotter, she gave truth, honesty, love, joy, and support to all who knew her. Ann came to earth on June 19th, 1945. She married Wayne Trotter on December 10th, 1965 and for almost 52 years gave her unconditional love and support to him. During that time, she gave birth to Ken Trotter, John Trotter, and Matt Trotter. Loved by her grandchildren, Lauri Haigler, Sophia Trotter, and Maili Trotter (all 3 known as “her girls”). Ann was proud to be the great-grandmother of Bailey Ann Haigler and Reece Haigler. Now in heaven, Ann is reunited with her youngest son, Matt Trotter, who went there first on July 11, 1997. Ann’s spirit is alive, strong, and healthy. During difficult and challenging times, her family and friends take comfort knowing she will be there to guide the way. You touched us all, Ann – you will forever be loved as well as missed, but we rejoice knowing you are free.
The family will receive friends from 12-1pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 at The Mackey Mortuary.
A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in the Remembrance Mausoleum Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the American Stroke Association.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
Sponsored by Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive.

Wayne, our prayers are with you and your sons, we know that Ann is in a better place and free of pain at last. Our biggest regret is that we only got to know Ann for a few years. What an intelligent and beautiful spirit she had...she will be greatly missed.

Wayne, sorry to hear about Ann - we know she is in a better place and is no longer in pain. Wish I could be with you today but I was in the hospital on Monday with a cardiac event and am still taking it easy. You and your family will certainly be in my prayers.

Wayne, I pray that God gives you strength and the many memories of your times together comfort you in your time of need. Ann was a ray of light that brightened the day for everyone she met, her wit and smile always brought out the best of all that came near. She will be missed.

The whole of Teijin and Toho Tenax families are thinking of you and Ann. Personally, Renay and I have been blessed to have met Ann. She was an insightful, warm, intelligent and supportive yet independent person. Most of all, I will remember her one-of-kind quick wit and sense of humor, even during all of her struggles. We will miss her, but also grateful that her suffering has ended and that she has gone to be with God and reunited with Matt.
