Dear Curtis Family:

I have been blessed by both of your parents. I am so sorry for your loss. Visiting your family was my first trip ever on a jet plane (when I was in high school). I will always remember the kindness expressed by your mother's gracious hospitality.

I am so saddened to hear the news about my dear friend Frances, but we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I knew Frances and Buster from my time on Young Life staff in the 70's and 80's, when they served on the Young Life committee. Many times they welcomed me and my wife into their home, and I have so many fond remembrances of them both. Our condolences to the entire family.
