Frances Rule, age 91, of Gadsden Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Mrs. Rule was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur W. Rule; grandson, Josh McClain; parents, Henry and Daisy Williams; brothers, Kenneth and Jim Williams; and special friend, Howard Duke. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Joe) Plummer, Janet (Cem) McClain, David (Linda) Rule, Randy (Connie) Rule, and Natalie (Loring) Beddingfield; grandchildren, Steve (Brandi) Knight, Matt (Mandy) Knight, Tresha McClain, Joy McClain, Cliff (Rhianna) Rule, Mark (Ashley) Rule, Mason Rule, Garrett (Molli) Rule, Emilie (Jerome) Huddleston, Chase (Lisa) Beddingfield, Penny (Absalom) Carlisle, and Debra Johnson. She was also blessed with 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Heart or Cancer Societies. Flowers will be appreciated. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Special thanks to Dr. Sanchetti and Alacare Hospice. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 16, 2017 in the chapel of Collier-Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside services and burial will be at Stock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Knoxville, TN 2:00 p.m. (EST) Saturday, June 17, 2017.
