Frances Nadine Bates, 73, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday March 3, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.
Born on March 24, 1943 at Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Flossie Settle Treadway.
Mrs. Bates was a retired certified nursing assistant.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bates.
Left to share her memory is her daughters, Kim M. Hayes of Boise, ID and Cheryl Bates of Oak Hill; and her dog Frankie.
A gathering will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.
