Frances's life journey began on July 28, 1926. She first greeted the world in Venice, California. Her parents' were Kima and Minokichi Nakano. She was raised with four brothers Ben, Bob, George, Henry and three sisters Kimiko, Marian and Iris. Frances was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her family sharing many life experiences over the years.

Frances was a typical teenager who had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. She graduated from Poston High School in Poston, Arizona.

While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Frances was blessed with three sons Daryl , Randy and Ronald Ito and one daughter Sachi Wakilina. Frances worked hard to be a good mother to her children and did her best to fulfill their needs, raising her children in a positive and nurturing environment. Later on, Frances was blessed with the gift 9 grandchildren, Arica Harris, Ken, Stephanie Ito, Jonathan Wilson, Jason Ito, Vincent Ito, Zachary Wakilina and Michelle Horiuchi and Darren and five great-grandchildren Miles Ito Wilson, Zachary Ito Wilson, Jayda Wakilina, Connor Horiuchi and Kamryn Horiuchi.

How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately, Frances enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Frances worked diligently and did her best to succeed in family farming business for over 40 years in San Diego County.

A person's hobbies often mirror who they have become. Frances enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities including Needlepoint, Knitting, Crocheting, playing the Organ and the slots at Barona Casino.

Frances Natsuko Carvajal left us on August 1, 2013. She is survived by her sister Iris Imoto, her sons Daryl, Randy and Ronald and daughter Sachi Wakilina all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Cryptside Service was held at Sleepy Hollow Mausoleum, Lower Terrace, Washington Irving Court on August 9, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.

So this is Frances's life, the sum of the woman that she became. Simply stated, Frances was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being caring and giving, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Frances leaves behind her a legacy of lifelong friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life Frances Natsuko Carvajal touched will always remember her with a smile.
