Mrs. Frances L. (King) Davidian, age 86, of Lynn died peacefully on September 26, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
Frances was the wife of the late John "Armen" Davidian, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Her beloved husband passed away March 15, 2013.
Born in Chelsea and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Brennan) King. She was the oldest of 5 living children. Frances's nurturing and loving nature was well suited for her in an unexpected role as parental guide to her younger siblings. Due to her own parents failing health, she embraced this responsibility with love and dedication.
This nurturing style continued as wife, mother, grandmother and good friend to so many. She met her future husband at the Library Spa Ice Cream Parlor in Chelsea in 1943. When she saw him she knew right there. She said "I saw what she liked and liked what she saw". Her family was her source of pride. Setting up their home first in Chelsea and then moving to Lynn. She pursued a number of artistic talents including, painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, macramé and ceramics. She turned her love for ceramics into a business "Robin's Nest Ceramic Studio". She also had a passion for shoes all of her life. As a young working woman she would go without lunch in order to save that money for a pair of dress shoes. And as for cooking, her husband always raved that she made an art of cooking. Her other passions included all forms of entertainment, reading, music, theatre, movies, cards, trivia and especially Frank Sinatra. She excelled in all of them and she was always trying to get some game going. Frances and her husband enjoyed doing things together especially traveling. Best of all was the planning, saving and then traveling on those special trips. When travelling was no longer an option, Frances and her husband enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors. Eventually, they spent their remaining days at Briarcliff Adult Day Lodge where their days were full and happy and they were together.
Frances leaves 3 children, Joan Luciano and her husband Alfred of Salem, John P. Davidian and his wife Deborah of Melrose and Carol Davidian of Lynn, 6 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late, Margaret (King) Waldron, Robert F. King, Claire (King) Karselian, and James B. King.
Her funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Briarcliff Adult Day Lodge, 112 Kernwood Drive, Lynn, MA 01904.

"Carol May you take comfort in knowing that your mother and father are now happy together again watching over you ....my heart is with you in this time of..." Solangel Ortega (Lynn, MA)
