We Miss Thee
We miss thee from our home, dear.
We miss thee from thy place.
A shadow o'er our life is cast.
We miss the sunshine of thy face.
We miss thy kind and willing hand.
Thy fond and earnest care.
Our home is dark without thee.
We miss thee everywhere.
At rest

Thank you everyone for the kind words. As we all try to deal with our loss, it is helpful to read your comments and stories you have all shared. Thank you to everyone who came out to the service on December 16th. It was so nice to meet some of Frances' friends and former co workers, and hear how she has touched your lives,in sommany special ways. Frances was a special, kind, patient and thoughtful person. It was a pleasure to spend time with her and to have her visit with us. She was always so helpful, appreciative, and so easy to please. At the cottage she always enjoyed going for a boat ride with Drew. This summer I convinced her to go out in the canoe with me. It was her first time canoeing and she really enjoyed it. We had a great time in November making pizzas and muffins, and her creation, piña colada muffins (pineapple & coconut), were delicious. I will miss her company and all the games of scrabble we used to play. We were well matched opponents...always a close game. I will miss Frances dearly as I know you all will. Thinking of her fondly this Christmas. Again, it was nice to meet you all, and perhaps we will see you again at the internment on January 26th. It would be comforting to connect with you all again.

Even though we only saw Frances on special occasions like our family BBQ, Christmas and the cottage on Lake Clear she was always smiling and willing to participate in our games and enjoy life. She will be remembered by all of us here and sorely missed. A kind sweet soul has left left us but will always be in our hearts and minds.

Frances and family , only had the opportunity to see you (Frances) at the various family gatherings, cottage, summer barbeques, holidays and was so glad we had the chance to meet. You are so sweet and caring. At the barbeques you were never afraid to jump in and have fun, and you did, crochet and ball toss. We have lost a special person here on earth. But you live on in our hearts and minds, and the universe has gained a great soul.

With great sadness I learned about Frances' passing. We worked together and working with her was always enjoyable and were professional. I will always remember her as a very sweet person and a (better) part of my professional life.
My deepest condolences to the whole family.

Ruth and family, I am so sorry. I know Frances will be sorely missed.
We too, in her former Toronto Trek family, will miss her wry humour and thoughtful conversation. She was unique, and deserved a full and satusfying life. Unfortunately her heart was stronger in spirit than in reality.
We won't forget her!
