Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Francis' service to St. Thomas More. As the watchman of our church, he opened the doors for all who came early to pray & to worship. He kept the church safe in the evenings and locked the doors. But more than those duties, he prayed for us. Thank you Francis, you will truly be missed!

Francis was a good person whose life centerd around the Co-Cathedral of
St. Thomas More. In the late 1990's when the St. Vincent de Paul Society Soup Kitchen was changed to the giving out a bag of sandwiches every weekday at 5:00 p.m.Francis was the man who fixed the sandwiches and gave them out. I remember when he was living in the student center as the security
person at night. he used to love it when we invited him to stop in at the end
of a SVdP Monday night meeting to share cake or other goodies that
were in celebration of a member's birthday. He took an interest in the
St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store before in closed in 2009 using his truck to
transport things to the store. He also helped out at the monthly SVdP
collection at the church doors.

Francis was the guardian of the Tower of St.Thomas More. He has been so faithful in his spiritual practices and always encouraged the faithful to pray the rosary. A humble man indeed.
