Frank Haas, 89, died on January 6 at Greenspring Village in Springfield. He leaves his daughter, Jeanne Marie Butterworth (Stewart), his son, Daniel Haas, his daughter-in-law, Jo-Ann Haas, his partner, Patricia McGrady, his sister, Maryann Andrews, his brother, Robert Haas, his former wife, Mary Haas; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. His son, Andrew, and his brother, Charlie, predeceased him.
Family and friends are invited to call at Demaine Funeral Home: 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA 22151 on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at noon at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 2700 S. 19th St., Arlington, Va. 22204. He will be interred at Quantico Military Cemetery on Monday, February 12, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace parish at the address above.
