Francis R. Andrascik, 73, was called to heaven on October 3, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mr. Andrascik was born in Perth Amboy, raised in Woodbridge and settled in Toms River for the past 9 years. He served in the Marine Reserves for eight years. Francis was the owner\operator of the Woodbridge Liquor Store for many years with his two brothers. He also worked for Joule as an insulator and for the military ocean terminal in Bayonne as a preventive mechanic. Mr. Andrascik enjoyed flying, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, mountaineering and was an avid outdoor enthusiast. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Andrascik is survived by his wife of 52 years Carole, three children, Theresa Owen and her husband David, Valerie Morgan and her husband W.C. and Francis Andrascik and his wife Autumn, six grandchildren, Ashley, Robert, Derek, Brenna Rae, Nathaniel, and Michelle, beloved dog, Corbin, Great Grandson, Chase, two brothers, Joseph Andrascik and his wife Audrey and Ernest Andrascik and his wife Thelma and sister Marie Demoreski. Friends may call Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 2-4pm at the D'Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 4PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Francis' memory to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

will always remember sitting around the dinner table at Thanksgiving or Christmas, listening to my Dad and Uncle Francis tell stories about their younger, wilder days! Uncle Francis could tell a good story, but he wasn't just a character. He was a man of great character. When he told you something important, it was absolutely sincere. He was definitely one-of-a-kind and will be greatly missed.
