FRANCIS FERGUS (Frank), on April 7, 2014 of Massapequa, New York. Born in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Joyce) of 53 years of marriage. Fond son of the late Farah and Mary Fergus. Loving father of James (Lynn), Maureen, John (Lori), Michael (Noreen). Cherished grandfather of Katie and Jack. Adored brother of Michael, John, Patrick, James, Edward, Henry, Bernard and Mary Jo. Francis served in the United State Army 1956--1958. Long time employee with Con Edison of 40 years. Francis loved soccer and traveling. Francis belonged to the Massapequa Soccer Club (Coach and Board Member) and the L.I. Junior Soccer League (Board Member), and 1st Inductee into LIJSL Hall of Fame.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at St. William the Abbot RC Church, 2000 Jackson Avenue, Seaford, NY 11783 ~ Interment to follow, St. Charles Cemetery, Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York ~


Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. before leaving for the funeral mass.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, New York.

My prayers go out to Aunt Patsy and Family. I will miss Uncle Frank a lot. I remember all the good times we had. I remember him taking me to a Yankee game in 1962. Rest in Peace, Uncle Frank.
