Frank Abbate, 97, born October 22, 1912 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on April 11, 2010 in Canoga Park, California. He is survived by his two daughters, Louise Smith and Patti Russell, four grandchildren, Diana O'Loane, Coby Mc Laughlin, Terry St. John, and Michele Butcher, three great grandchildren, Jeanna O'Loane, Douglas O'Loane and Isabella Mann, and longtime friend Paula Matlovsky.
Frank retired from Anheuser Busch to start his own business with his wife Frances in North Hollywood, California. Their establishment was called "Venice Italian Market" an Italian Deli. Frank always welcomed all his customers with a smile and a funny joke. Frank was loved by all.
Funeral Service held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Praiswater in Van Nuys, California.
