Frank married my beautiful Mimal right before I was born. He was a grandfather to me. He was a wonderful man and an incredible husband to my grandmother. He cared for her and I will always be grateful to him. I remember when I was little he taught me how to drive the boat and let me wear his captain's hat. Always making us feel special each visit. He always greeted us with a warm smile waiting on our arrival in the driveway. He was a great joke teller and I adored that he had a funny story to share when he would see me. I am so sorry to have learned that he is gone, but I will always remember him fondly.

Steve, Cindy and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. We know he's in heaven with Sarah and the rest of the family having a good time. I remember the stories of him working in the sheriff's office, and of him driving the "get away car" for the newly weds in 1965, and the recent one refinishing Aunt Nora's table. Those were wonderful times. May the memories of your family comfort you in the days ahead. Love you all.

Steve, I am so sorry for your loss. As you well know, it is so hard losing a parent or any loved one. I have a lot of good memories of Frank. I don't know why but I never called him Uncle Frank. All of Mama's brothers and sisters were just always on a first name basis with me. I guess I just felt close to them and they were more like brothers and sisters or friends to me. Mama showed me a letter once that Grandmother had written to her in 1935 after she married. In it she said that Frank wanted her to come back home and live because he missed her so much. I know she did a lot to help take care of the other children since she was the oldest...and only 15 when she married. May God be with you in the weeks ahead and bring you peace. Love to you and your family. Sherry and Mike
